Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 until her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC, she was SSC's composer, musician and text coach, as well as set/costume/music designer. Though generally leading from within the acting ensemble at the end of her time, she made her first appearance as an actor (and lighting designer) for SSC's King Lear. Her roles include various other television shows in addition to acting. Daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised with two of her brothers at Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she played and studied. The school she attended was Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer from 1982. They share two daughters. Post has inspired many Hollywood actors because she is both a fantastic actress and perfect wife and mother.
